I am starting this blog to share my family history research with other Mackens, Kelehers, Cranes, Cullens, Bouchers, Bergerons, Nolins, St. Hilaires.... These are all names of our ancestors.
My research has been extensive and is recorded in Family Tree Maker. But until the stories are told, the software is just a list of names, dates and places. With the advent of online sources, indexed by name, I have been able to expand the stories. Did you know for example, that L.J. Macken was hit by a car, not once but twice, at the same intersection?
